Meet Tango – A Dapper, 29-Year-Old Handsome Parrot Looking for His Forever Home!

Hello there! I’m Tango, a 29-year-young, handsome bird on the lookout for the perfect forever home. I may not be the youngest, but I’ve still got plenty of personality to share, and I’m looking for a special someone to enjoy it with.

I do prefer the company of men, no offense to the ladies, but I just feel more comfortable around them. If you’re willing to give me a good head scratch, I’m more than happy to sit with you for as long as you’ll let me! I’m not shy when it comes to sharing food either, especially if it’s something I like – so watch out!

I’m not a noisy bird, but I do whistle and screech if I feel left out. I also love to say “hello” in the sweetest voice, so get ready for some adorable greetings!

When it comes to sleep, I like to go to bed around 7 pm for my 12 hours of beauty sleep. I also enjoy a few cat naps during the day, whether it’s in my cage or perched on top of the curtain pole. If you have to go out, I’m okay with that, but please leave the radio on for me, and don’t leave me alone for too long—no more than 4-5 hours if possible.

Right now, I live with 3 other birds and 2 dogs, but I’m quite content to keep to myself. I don’t bother them, and they don’t bother me. However, since I have a very sharp beak and know how to use it, I’d prefer a home without young children. I’m free to come and go from my cage as I please, though I don’t fly well, so I’m more of a determined little one who gets where I want to go at my own pace!
