Hello fellow bird lovers,

Allow me to introduce myself – I’m Eric, a dashing, distinguished African Grey with a few stories to tell. People say I’m quite the handsome chappie, and who am I to argue?

My Story

My journey has had a few twists and turns. I found my way to my safehouse mum after my previous owner sadly passed away, which led to a bit of chaos. But that’s all in the past, and I’m now looking forward to a fresh start in a loving forever home.

My Personality & Quirks

🎶 Master whistler! My specialty? The Addams Family theme song—complete with clicks! I also mimic notification sounds so well, you’ll constantly check your phone.
🕺 Music lover! Nothing gets me grooving like Rock Around the Clock.
🍽️ Foodie at heart! I now love fresh fruit and veggies, and birdy bread is my absolute favorite treat.
🚿 Bath time? Yes, but on my terms! I prefer a nice spray rather than a full-on shower.
🦜 Confident flyer & curious explorer. Close a door, and I’ll get the hint—I’m nosy but respectful like that!
🛋️ Chill vibes only. I enjoy perching on the back of a chair, watching TV, and taking in the world around me.

Who I’m Looking For

👨 I prefer male companionship. While I’ll happily let women feed and care for me, I won’t interact much—it’s just a preference.
🐶🐱 I’m used to dogs and cats, so they don’t bother me.
🚫 No wooden poles, please! They make me nervous.
👶 A home without small children would suit me best.
🏡 I don’t like being alone for long hours. A part-time or work-from-home human would be ideal!

My Daily Routine

☀️ Morning: Fresh water, chop, snacks, fruit, and seed.
🕓 Afternoon: Interaction time starts around 4 PM.
🌙 Evening: I put myself to bed at 9 PM, covered and cozy.
🌅 Dawn chorus? You bet! When my cover comes off, I’ll greet the day with a friendly “hello” in various voices.
