Meet Billy and Abby – Parrots

We’d love to introduce ourselves—we are Billy and Abby! 🎉

🐦 Billy is a charming nine-year-old Patagonian conure, and 🕊️ Abby is a beautiful albino Quaker of mysterious age. Though we come from different backgrounds, we’ve formed a strong and unbreakable bond in our aviary home.

Our pasts are a bit of a mystery—Abby was found and given a second chance, while Billy came to Birdline due to his owner’s ill health. But despite it all, we’ve found comfort in each other and are now looking for a forever aviary home where we can stay together.

A Little Bit About Us

💛 We aren’t tame, so we prefer an aviary where we can feel safe. Spaces to hide are a must, as we can get a bit defensive if someone comes too close.

💛 Billy isn’t a fan of smaller birds, so we’d love an aviary just for the two of us. He can’t fly, but he’s an expert climber! To keep him happy, he’ll need plenty of different perches to rest on between adventures.

💛 Abby is a great flyer, but her favorite place to be? Right next to Billy, chatting away and keeping him company.

Our Personalities & Preferences

🎶 We love to be vocal! We sing the song of our people to each other, to other birds, and to our wonderful safehouse parents. And trust us—you’ll always know if we have an opinion about something!

🍎 We are fantastic eaters! We enjoy our seed mixes and fruit but are a little more selective when it comes to vegetables. Our favorite treats include apples, bananas, sweetcorn, peas, and watermelon.

Our Dream Home

We’re looking for a lovely, spacious aviary where we can stay together and grow old gracefully. If you have a quiet, secure space where we can thrive, we’d love to meet you!
